Resource Sharing and Collaboration: Best Practices for Whole-of-State, and Stories from the Trenches

In an increasingly interconnected and digitized world, the realm of cybersecurity has dramatically shifted towards a collective approach to securing our Nation and its critical infrastructures, spanning traditional governmental boundaries to meet the rising tide of cyber threats.

A centralized approach to cybersecurity, whether whole-of-state, whole-of-city or beyond, requires state, local, education, and tribal leaders to work together and share resources to improve their cyber posture and reduce risk.

The conversation will feature two organizations: the State of Arizona, whose groundbreaking whole of state program is humming along into its next phase, and the City of Boston, who is in the throes of balancing centralization with resource sharing as part of their efforts to secure the City, and participate in their regional cybersecurity program.

This panel discussion will cover topics that are widely applicable not just to state and local government, but also to federal government agencies who are under requirements such as the Biden Administration's National Cybersecurity Strategy Plan, which calls for a whole-of-government effort.
