Mr. Schwartz is currently leading the technology team for Events DC which is the premier host of conventions, entertainment, sporting and cultural events in the nation’s capital. Venues include the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Nationals Park (Baseball), Entertainment & Sports Arena (Basketball), RFK, and several other great locations.

Mr. Schwartz was formally a senior advisor to the Secretary of Commerce and acting CIO for her office. He was also the Division Chief of the IT Service Management Office at the Census bureau. Prior to these roles, Mr. Schwartz served as a Deputy Division Chief in the Communications Directorate and was also the Bureau's lead for the Trust & Safety Team.
