Vice President | Global Incident Response
Charles River Associates
As a leader in the Forensic Services practice, Aniket heads an incident response team of highly specialized cyber security professionals. Their work enables clients to resist, detect and respond to advanced cyber-attacks. Aniket and his team are frequently called on to investigate and contain network intrusions and provide actionable threat intelligence to clients in crisis situations. Their continual focus on tracking nation-state adversaries, threat actors involved with cyber espionage, financially motivated crime groups, and insider threats, aids in readiness when stakes are high and time is of the essence. Because incident response alone is not adequate to address every action clients may take to avoid or mitigate incidents, breaches, and ransom situations, Aniket helped establish and continually expand the firm’s Incident Readiness and Threat Intelligence services launched four years ago, for which his team has received special recognition from clients and industry experts. Aniket and his team assist CRA’s clients by developing and implementing security operations capabilities by enhancing process, technology, and controls. Aniket has led incident readiness engagements of special value to clients, including incident response planning and communication strategy. He and his team frequently moderate tabletop simulations for organizations to help build muscle memory for detection and response programs – including strategic threat landscape reviews with organizations’ Boards of Directors. Based on client reviews, Who's Who Legal recognized Aniket for his "cyber- security expertise" and "adept handling of multiple complex data breaches" from 2020 to 2023, and selected as the Top 50 Cybersecurity consultants for 2022 and 2023. Clients further cite his "collaborative, proactive and pragmatic approach" as instrumental to their ongoing relationships.
