Starting his IT career as an Apple Mac engineer Adam has worked his way up through the IT ranks gaining experience through a variety of technical and leadership roles. He has spent most of his professional career working in the education sector with brief forays into finance and business process outsourcing. As Head of Information Security at the University of Salford Adam plays an integral part in protecting the university’s students, staff, and data. His team of security professionals work together to implement and improve procedures and processes to optimise cyber security across the university. He really enjoys seeing those he has helped reach their potential and excelling in their chosen field.
