Pete Kartje is a Sr. Outbound Product Manager in Security Operations at ServiceNow. Previously an attorney for 10 years, Pete first became interested in security while doing work in a legal capacity at employers that had to deal with the rollout of PCI-DSS, as well as NERC-CIP contracts with energy providers. This led him to shift gears and pursue a degree in Computer Networking and Information Technologies, with focuses on Security across network infrastructure and software. A firm believer in making security approachable to everyone, Pete focuses on distilling and breaking down the opaque and making the world of Security work easier for all to approach and understand.
