Chinedu Okorafor is executive vice president and chief information officer of Enterprise Technology, Security & Fraud for The PNC Financial Services Group.
In this capacity, he is responsible for applications that support Enterprise Technology and Security, including Enterprise Fraud, Security and Identity Engineering, Intelligence Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering and Quality Engineering Products & Frameworks.
Prior to his return to PNC in June 2022, Chinedu served as chief technology officer for Citibank’s U.S. Personal Bank. Previously, he was PNC’s Head of Retail Technology Operations. Before joining PNC in May 2017, Chinedu spent 12 years at USAA where he most recently served as the executive director of IT Operations with overall platform responsibility for mainframe, middleware, database and storage. He also has had prior roles with Wells Fargo and Citibank.
Chinedu serves as a mentor with WINGS for Growth and is an active alumnus of The Advanced Leadership Institute.
He earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Nigeria and a Master of Science in information technology from the University of Texas.
