Tactical Advantage: Engaging the Users and Help Desk
We will explore how IT teams can trigger user notifications based on everyday use cases, specifically uptime greater than thirty days, or reboot required. We will pop up an alert prompting the user to reboot. If they agree, we will initiate the reboot; if they decline, we will redirect them to a URL explaining the need for the reboot. We will create a report to view responses and use that to create a Connect integration to automatically open ServiceNow incidents, enabling the help desk to follow up with the user. A secondary objective will be to create user notifications alerting them to environmental information, targeted to specific locations (e.g., a planned office outage). Pre-Req(s): Tanium console user with practical experience, Knowledge of Tanium Connect and Tanium Reporting
