What is Converge?
In its 6th year, Converge 2021 returns in an all-virtual environment. This year’s agenda will preserve the technical greatness of past events while introducing new executive and vertical content. More than doubling the number of participants from previous years, thousands of professionals from around the globe will be engaging in an agenda featuring keynote addresses, breakouts, and technical labs.
When is Converge 2021?
Converge 2021 is taking place virtually from November 16 – 18, 2021.
Where is Converge 2021 taking place?
Putting the health and safety of our community first as the pandemic comes to a close, we have decided to make our annual user conference, Converge 2021, a virtual experience again this year!
During what times will Converge 2021 be running?
Converge 2021 is a borderless global event that will take place across three time zones from November 16 – 18, 2021. This gives our attendees different options to tune in based on where they live. For an overview of when Converge Keynotes and Breakouts are scheduled, please refer to the Agenda page, where you can customize the agenda times to your own personal time zone!

Who will the Keynote speakers be?
Keynote speakers will be officially announced in September, but don’t hesitate to check back to the site in the meantime for any new updates about noteworthy Keynote and Breakout speakers who have been added to the line-up!
When will sessions and speakers be announced?
All sessions will be finalized and added to the Converge 2021 site in September and October, at which time an Agenda Builder will be made available for you to build your own personalized agenda.
Will Converge 2021 sessions be available to view on-demand?
Converge Keynotes and Breakout Sessions will be posted for on-demand viewing for Converge ticket holders following the last day of Converge. Additional details on how to access the content will be available closer to the event.
Will Hands-On Labs sessions be available to view on-demand?
Due to the interactive nature of our Labs, they will not be available to view on-demand. However, you can reach out to [email protected] if you are interested in other learning opportunities.

How much do tickets cost?
How do I get the Early Bird rate?
To obtain the $225 Early Bird Rate on Converge + Labs tickets, you will need to register and purchase a Converge + Labs ticket no later than 11:59pm PT on September 28, 2021. Starting at 12:00am PT on September 29, 2021 Converge + Labs tickets will be sold at the standard rate of $349.
Can I pay for my Converge + Labs ticket via check or wire transfer?
All payments for Converge + Labs tickets must be made via credit card at the time of registration. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover are all accepted. If you have any questions about payment methods, please contact [email protected].
My whole team will be registering for Hands-On Labs. Is there any sort of bulk discount?
Yes! There is a Buy 2, Get 1 Free discount available for teams of 2 or more people who will be purchasing Converge + Labs tickets. To take advantage of this offer, you will need to email [email protected] and request a promo code for a complimentary Converge + Labs ticket. Two paid Converge + Labs tickets must be purchased by team members of the same company in the order to qualify. Comped Converge + Labs tickets cannot be used to qualify for a third free ticket.
How is my registration information used after I register?

What is the cancellation policy?
If circumstances or policies in your organization change and you can no longer attend Converge, you may cancel your registration by emailing [email protected].
The Converge refund policy is as follows:
- Cancellation on or before November 15, 2021: Full refund of registration fee
- Cancellation or refund request received on or after November 16, 2021: Refund forfeited, regardless of actualized attendance at Converge
- Refunds will be processed via a credit to the original source of payment.
When applicable, refunds for canceled registrations will be processed within thirty (30) days of cancellation notice. Tanium is not responsible for any damages, direct or indirect, resulting from any canceled registration(s) or impermissible substitution(s).
What is the substitution policy?
Registration substitutions will be accommodated for substitution requests received on or before October 29, 2021. All substitution requests must be made in writing by emailing [email protected]. Substitutions will occur by cancelling the original registration and having the new attendee register. Any discounted pricing or promo codes applied to the initial registration will be transferred and applied to the substituting registration. The substituted attendee must be from the same organization as the canceled registrant. A maximum of one (1) substitution per original registrant is allowed.
How many Labs can I sign up for with a Converge + Labs ticket?
The number of Labs included with your Converge + Labs ticket will be determined by your region. The number of Labs you are able to choose from will be specified during the registration process after you select "Converge + Labs" as your ticket type. Space is limited, so it is recommended that you sign up for Labs sessions early!
When is the last day that I can register for or make changes to my Labs selection?
Registration for the Hands-On Labs will close two (2) weeks prior to Converge. However, it is recommended that you confirm your Labs sessions early, as capacities are limited and tickets sell out quickly.
Can I make changes to the Labs sessions I selected after registering?
Yes. After you register, you can modify your Labs selections by logging in to your registration and navigating to the Hands-On Labs Sessions tab. Changes to Hands-On Labs selections will be accepted through October 29, 2021 and are based on availability. After this date, requests to change or cancel individual Labs session selections should be emailed to [email protected].
What is Capture the Flag (CTF)?
Capture the Flag (CTF) is a competition available to Converge + Labs ticket holders. The competition pits teams against each other to solve a variety of challenges, including investigations and Threat Hunting on Windows and Linux, Lateral Movement, Persistence, PowerShell Attacks, Memory Analysis, Signals Analysis, Sensors, and “Living off the Land Binaries and Scripts”.
Capture the Flag (CTF) challenges are designed in such a manner that will allow teams of 3-4 members to leverage our biggest security module, Threat Response, to solve them. This year, we’re going to incorporate other modules from our Security and Risk Suite that includes Protect, Comply, Patch, Reveal and Impact.
Sounds fun! How do I sign up for Capture the Flag (CTF)?
Capture the Flag (CTF) will be available for Converge + Labs ticket holders only. To participate, opt-in to CTF when registering. Further instructions on how to build your CTF team will be emailed to you approximately six (6) weeks prior to Converge. More information can be found on the Hands-On Labs/Capture the Flag page.
