35-year Marine, Kyle Dewar is an exceptional thought leader, strategist, and innovator with a record of success in both the commercial and government sectors. Author, blogger, strategist, and mentor, Kyle has served with the Office of the Secretary of Defense for Policy, the Joint Staff, Headquarters Marine Corps, and Marine Forces Reserve. A distinguished graduate of the US Army War College, Kyle has mobilized, deployed, and responded to the needs of our Nation since 1989 – from advising Iraqi army units to reinforcing units in Okinawa, he has planned, operated, and integrated complex tactical networks in every climate. Kyle has led Marines and built C2 networks in Singapore, Kuwait, Romania, Guatemala, Norway, Iraq, and Australia.
A Tanium Certified Operator, Kyle’s expertise gives federal customers an information advantage with real-time visibility and high confidence control. His ability to contextualize threat-informed and outcome-focused capabilities to solve problems is valued by both operational and senior-level customers.
Kyle played a pivotal role in leveraging Tanium to bring the Marine Corps closer to a single pane of cyber operations glass. He also worked to enhance MCEN C2 by leveraging Tanium role-based access control to increase Tanium usage at network battalions and network activities; operationalizing a centralized control with decentralized action network C2 model. Supporting the US Coast Guard, Kyle spearheaded discussions surrounding Tanium Enforce, opening an opportunity for expanded Tanium usage and investment. Kyle's government and industry experience, thought leadership, and superior technical acumen make him a key force in driving innovation and advancing our Nation’s cybersecurity.
