Bio:
Kate has been with Tanium since November 2024 - she leads the UK Customer and Nordic business. She joined from Microsoft where she spent over 5yrs leading the UK National Healthcare business which involved playing a key role in Microsoft’s national response to the Covid pandemic. Throughout her 25 year career in technology she’s had the privilege of working with a wealth of different customers, industries and partners and has always been encouraged and sometimes surprised with how technology can be used to positively impact people’s lives. With the recent explosion and acceleration of GenAI, Kate is particularly interested in understanding what this could mean for us all – the impact from a security and authenticity perspective as well as the transformative skills landscape that will be needed for the UK to compete and be successful on the global stage. Kate’s first language is Welsh and after a very early career and degree in classical music, she is now settled in South Oxfordshire with her husband and two almost grown up sons.
